About Us

Zoomin' The Mountains of East Tennessee began in the summer of 2006 as a small gathering of local Miata enthusiasts, of all backgrounds, who wanted to get together for some fun drives in this wonderful natural playground of the Great Smoky Mountains. These mountains are perfect for our cars, and we certainly explore! Each year, the event has grown in participation, as well as in activities throughout the long weekend. While day-long drives are still the core of our event, in years past we have included additional events such as after-drive parties with live bands, fun events like cornhole tournaments, raffles, and other ways to win prizes (and bragging rights!) . We have in years past run our Miatas on the Bristol Motor Speedway in order to have some fun and donate to charity.
