February 10, 2021 - We have sad news to convey regarding Patrick Smith. Zoomin was notified that Patrick passed away from a heart attack complicated by pneumonia. He had been in the hospital for some time due to a fall. He was 67. His brother is arranging cremation and there are no plans for a memorial service. Patrick was a big supporter of Zoomin The Mountains and always offered and assisted wherever help was needed, especially with our track events. So if our Zoomin family and friends would pause for a moment and remember Patrick's family and contribution to the Zoomin events and his club. Thank you.

February 10, 2021 - William Gary Whitson, 72, from Blountville, Tennessee, passed away February 10, 2021.

Gary was a valued businessman in our area as the owner of "The Miata Graveyard" Classic Investments Auto Sales in Blountville, TN. Gary was well-known for his honesty, integrity, and faith. Gary unashamedly shared his love for his Savior, Jesus, and always encouraged others to exercise compassion and mercy. He loved people, family, animals, and life. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. His keen sense of humor and loyal friendship were treasured by all.

Gary was a huge supporter of Zoomin' The Mountains of East Tennessee.
